I'm terrible with the care and feeding of plants.

My Karen Sue does a much better job of keeping the house plants and outdoor flowers and foliage. Thank goodness she was born with two green thumbs.

This Coral Cactus was a gift from our son and daughter-in-law. I'm fascinated with the peaks and valleys on it's fan-shaped growth.

Here, I noticed the great diffused light shining on it as it sat in one of our front door windows. The clouds had just moved in, causing a nice soft splash of afternoon light.

Smokey, our ever curious cat, came by as I was laying on the floor, moving the plants around to get just the right light and position. I had to gently move her out of the frame so I could get this one. She's just off to the left, wondering what in the heck I'm doing.

I'm catching the light.
